Purpose
This symposium is held to celebrate 30th anniversary of launch of the 1st Japanese Marine Observation Satellite (MOS-1) which started Japanese satellite Earth Observation (EO) program. In this symposium, EO data users in the field of disaster management and climate change and others will introduce specific examples and future activities of satellite EO applications that have resulted in and will contribute to significant societal benefit.
